What does GO SSLP membership do for you?

  • Superb professional development by nationally renowned speakers in the areas of interest to SLPs who provide services in school settings. GO SSLP membership guarantees you a seat at the annual conference when you register by the deadline.
  • CEUs for ASHA that are easily recorded and managed. The GO SSLP Executive Office maintains CEU records for easy access.
  • E-newsletters twice a year that are full of information about current topics and issues related to school-based SLPs around the state.
  • Opportunities to collaborate on and contribute to products that will benefit SLPs with common interests around the state (e.g. RTI Manual). GO SSLP member contributions have helped to reduce the purchase price of these products. Members collaborate at the GO SSLP annual conference and share their opinions through surveys about the organization's direction.
  • Open communication and dialogue with SLPs that have similar interests and concerns. GO SSLP maintains a database of all members for easy access.
  • Lobbyist who provides a direct link between the interests and needs of GO SSLP members and the Georgia legislature. Members receive timely updates, alerts, and communications about specific actions they can take to make a difference for the profession. The voices of GO SSLP members are heard at the Georgia capitol!
  • Special opportunities to serve and learn from one another as we collectively promote the needs of children with communication disorders around the state.
  • Mini-grant and scholarship opportunities.
